Organisation Objectives: 
1متابعة الجهات الحكوميه والمنظمات المانحه وتمثيل الاهالي للحصول على كل الخدمات من مشاريع تنمويه وخدمات اجتماعية وغيرها 2 الحفاظ على البيئة وحمايتها 3 ارساء قواعد التوعية والانشطه الثقافيه وترسيخ الوعي بين اوساط الشباب 4 تشجيع الاستثمار في جميع المجالات المختلفة ويكون عوائده لصالح الجمعية 5 العمل على اقامة الحواجز والسدود لحفظ المياه والاستفادة منها 6 وضع الحلول المناسبه والتصدي للعوائق التي تعيق الطالب الجامعي حتى يتم اكمال دراسته العلياء قدر الامكان

Organisation Objectives: 
- تعزيز الوعي والثقافة والديمقراطية بين جميع فئات المجتمع بمختلف أدوات البحث العلمي وأساليب التوعية والتعريف والتشارك. - رفع مستوى الحقوق والحريات العامة من خلال المناصرة والضغط والرصد والحشد. - تحسين مستوى المرأة والطفل وتطوير التعاطي مع قضاياهم من مختلف الجوانب. - تشجيع المبادرات الشبابية الإبداعية والمجتمعية المحلية.
Organisation Activities (Completed and ongoing Projects): 
- تحالف شبكة أكون النسائية مع مجموعة من الشبكات ومنظمات المجتمع المدني لمناصرة قضايا المرأة.والتأكيد على نظام الكوتا 30 % لها حق سياسي في السلطات الثلاثة. - تنفيذ فعالية "تطلعات المرأة لما بعد الحوار" - تنفيذ المرحلة الأولى من المشروع الممول من الصندوق الوطني للديمقراطية (NED) (البرنامج التدريبي حول المهارات الانتخابيةوادارات الحملات وتكريس المفاهيم السياسية)بتنفيذ حلقة نقاشية حول تطلعات المرأة اليمنية لما بعد الحوار. - تنفيذ فعالية بعنوان الوالدية ضمن حملة مناهضة التحرش الجنسي بالأطفال. - المشاركة في شبكة التعزيز المدني لمنظمات المجتمع المدني. - تنفيذ مشروع المدنيين والنزاعات مع مؤسسة الشباب الديمقراطي(حضرموت)ومؤسسة سد مأرب للتنمية الاجتماعية (مأرب) بالشراكة مع برنامج الحكم الرشيد(GIZ). - التأهل من بين عدد كبير من النظمات للمشاركة في برنامج التعزيز المؤسسي لمنظمات المجتمع المدني والذي نفذ عبر مشروع استجابة. - تنفيذ اللقاء التشاوري للناشطات بتعز لتمكين المرأة سياساً وايصال تطلعات المرأة من مؤتمر الحوار. - تنفيذ لقاءات صحفية مع عضوات الحوار الوطني والتأكيد على اهمية نظام الكوتا كحق سياسي للمرأة اليمنية للوصول بها الى مواقع القرار السياسي. - اقامة الدورة التدريبية الخاصة بالتحرش بالاطفال عبر حملة لاتلمسني (لمناهضة التحرش الجنسي بالاطفال) - تنفيذ المرحلة الثالثة من مشروع دعم قضايا المرأة والذي تمثل في انشطة شبكة أكون الهادفة الى رفع كفاءة القياديات الحزبيات والمستقلات والضغط على الاحزاب والمؤسسات ومؤتمر الحوار الوطني لإدراج نضام الكوتا 30 % للمرأة في اللجان التابعة لهم والمنبثقة عن الحوار عام 2012 م. - انتاج فيلم (صرخة امرأة) من اجل مواطنة عادلة ومتساوية. - المشاركة في فعالية (اليوم المفتوح للمواطنة) وتكريم المركز من قبل امين العاصمة لحصوله على المركز الاول. - تنفيذ الورشة التدريبية الخاصة بالتشريعات والقوانين السياسية المتعلقة بالمرأة. - تنفيذ أمسية ثقافية حول نضالات المرأة اليمنية. - تنفيذ الدورة التدريبية الخاصة بالنظم الانتخابية. - التحالف مع منظمات المجتمع المدني لدعم الحوار. - تبني حملة لا تلمسني لمناهضة التحرش الجنسي بالأطفال 2012 م. - عمل محاضرات للآباء والأمهات والتربويين في عدة مدارس(حملة لاتلمسني). - تنفيذ أمسية رمضانية بدار رعاية الايتام تتضمنت محاضرة حول التحرش بالأطفال وكيفية تجنب مثل هذه الظاهرة(حملة لاتلمسني). -محاضرة توعية في دار الرحمة للأيتام حول هذه الظاهرة(حملة لاتلمسني). -مناصرة القضايا المتعلقة بالتحرش بالأطفال مثل قضية مرام الشرعبي وتنفيذ وقفة صامته امام النائب العام وعمل مذكرتين بتوقيع من النائب تقدمان لنائب المحكمة والمحافظ بتعز(حملة لاتلمسني). - تنفيذ مشروع عدستي ترصد الحقوقي و الرصدي2011 م واطلاق موقع خاص بهواة التصوير والتوثيق يظم نوافذ المصورين (صور وفيديو). - تنفيذ المرحلة الثانية من مشروع دعم قضايا المرأة في اجندة الاحزاب السياسية –والمتمثلة في تدريب القيادات النسائية الحزبية وإنشاء شبكة اكون للدعم والمناصرة قضايا المرأة 2011 م. - التحالف مع منظمات المجتمع المدني لإصدار قانون حق الحصول على المعلومات. - تنفيذ مشروع دراسة بحثية معمقة حول دعم قضايا المرأة في أجندة الأحزاب السياسيةعام 2010م. - تنفيذ مشروع بناء القيادات النسائية الشابة سنة 2009 تم فيها تأهيل وكسب مهارات القيادة والتفاوض والحوار وتعزيز الثقة بالنفس والتنمية الذاتية لعدة فتيات من داخل وخارج المحافظة (الأمانة - عدن - تعز - الحديدة - حضرموت). - المساهمة في تنفيذ حملة التوعية للانتخابات الرئاسية 2006م. - تنفيذ حملة التوعية الانتخابية للأرياف أكتوبر 2002م. - المساهمة في الرقابة على الانتخابات المحلية 2001م. - تنفيذ فعاليات توعوية ومجموعات ضغط إضافة إلى بيانات الاستنكار والشجب المعبرة عن رأي المركز حيال مختلف القضايا الإنسانية .

Fields of Interest (Focus Areas): 
The center's areas of interest are restricted to: (A)Topical Mandate: •Strategic issues (security and defense), political and socio-economic issues as well as energy research. (B)Geographic Mandate: •Yemen and its vital sphere which includes the littoral states the Red Sea, the GCC countries, Iran and Iraq. •Middle East and North Africa. •Countries which are of consequence to the center's areas of interest. The above determinants are interdependent in view of international relations and the interaction of their interest areas and issues. As such, Yemen influences and is influenced by many of these determinants and should consider and analyze their issues that have a bearing on the country, be it a direct or indirect effect.
Organisation Objectives: 
SCSS aims at 1.To pose right questions about strategic, political and socio-economic issues concerning Yemen and the region. 2.To address issues in a scientific methodology, putting aside the conventional dictates. 3.To review the western theories and concepts that are wrongly applied to the Arab communities, and to come up with theories and concepts appropriate to the analysis of the Arab context. 4.To reconsider the research priorities on the basis of the significance of topics for the government and society. 5.To exploit all available potentialities and skills to contribute to knowledge accumulation. 6.To advocate studies and activities that would help improve education, enhance critical thinking, expunge mistaken concepts and preconceptions from the educational curricula, abolish the conventional methods of teaching and learning, and foster the knack of critical analysis. 7.To take the lead in re-defining relations with others (particularly with the West) through understanding the positive aspects of reciprocal relations and realizing the diversity of the West; and not to deal with all the western states and communities as if they were a single entity. 8.To conduct futuristic studies and prepare projected or perceived scenarios, thereby providing the decision makers in Yemen with pest policy alternative.
